So you want to contact me? That is awesome. I like it when people reach out to me there is just one problem; I average between 300 and 700 emails traveling through my inbox in a day.

Like most people I am working on how to manage this. There are  more and less effective ways to communicate with me.  I can’t express enough that if you are looking for results or an action that you need to keep the communication simple and direct.

I recently read this on rejection letters so before you read my preferences check this out.

When can I help you:

It is impossible for me to respond to everything so check here first to see if I can help. I regret that without clearing with standards and practices of my employers to:

  • read technical manuals and review them
  • judge contests
  • deliver lectures
  • Review your site
  • Provide guidance on how to raise money for your event
  • Review your business plan
  • Speaking on the record about current or past employers

I don’t under any circumstances:

  • Take unsolicited meetings for agency services
  • Supply personal information that goes beyond my professional bio
  • Review products from PR Pitches. If I review something it will be because I am passionate about my experience with it.

I am open to:

  • Speaking at conferences on panels (Limited to 10 a year)
  • Being on content boards as time allows
  • Writing guests posts or columns
  • Coffee. I am a sucker for coffee and if you want a chance at changing my mind about the above I can be bribed with coffee.

General Principle:

Be brilliant, be brief, be gone.
